On the face of it, a Public Cloud is a very sensible idea.  Being able to store and retrieve data easily is what most businesses need, but every time a high profile organisation hits the headlines due to a data breach or a cyber attack, the fear grows that your data security and valuable information is not under your direct control and is therefore at greater risk.

The reality as this article argues, is that we the public, through our unfounded fears are at fault!  As long as we ensure the service we use is credible, professionally organised and we establish sensible security processes and precautions, the public cloud is a valuable asset. What do you think?
