Common Management Agent(CMA or EPO agent) 3.6.0 Patch 3 has been released, McAfee highly recommend anyone running ePO and HIPS to complete the installation immediately in order to eliminate the potential of possible policy corruption issues.

IntruShield software release version 3.1.x will reach End of Support and Availability effective Dec 31, 2008

There will be no maintenance releases after Sep 30, 2008. New signature sets and UDS will be supported for 3.1.x release till Dec 31, 2008.

There will be no updates to the release in the form of maintenance releases, hotfix releases, signature set and UDS releases on or after Dec 31, 2008.

Users are encouraged to upgrade to 4.1.x release.

VirusScan Enterprise 8.0i Patch 16 is now available for download.

Anti Virus engine 5100 will reach end of life as of 1^st of February 2008 and will no longer be supported, in order to continue to receive support, users will need to upgrade to the 5200 engine. Also, new detections and cleaning by the DAT files will be written with focus on the new enhanced capabilities of the 5200 McAfee Anti-Virus Engine where appropriate
