New update site for smaller downloads !
As of March 10th, 2009, a new V2-only CommonUpdater download site for McAfee products was made available in parallel with the original download site.
If you are using only V2-enabled products, this site will allow your updates to consume less bandwidth. All McAfee products will continue to update from the original CommonUpdater site until you manually change your configuration. More details can be found here
