Mobile Device usage is at an all time high and growing. The pressure on IT departments to allow Smartphones and Tablets access into a business environment is also increasing. The main obstacle for most is that there is no way of controlling the majority of these devices, no way to wipe confidential information if a device is lost, and no way to know what devices are connecting.

Mobile Management solutions are available in two main forms, one is to control the native settings of a device; Force encryption, allow remote wipe of company data, preconfigure VPN and WIFI connections, disable the application stores and more. The other is to provide a secure application to the device that sandboxes corporate features and stores everything in an encrypted "vault" that can be remotely removed.

Multiple Operating systems are now covered with varying levels of functionality including; iOS, Android, Symbian, WebOS, RIM, PalmOS, and Windows.
