Marketing Executive

£25 – 30K base salary dependant on experience + quarterly commission plan based on hitting KPI’s

We are looking for an outgoing, ambitious, driven, and disciplined marketeer. A professional who seeks a role where their highly visible programmes will be a key element of driving forward the companies’ commercial objectives and growth, putting the customer right at the centre of everything they do.

About the role

This wide-ranging role puts you at the heart of our customer and partner relationships.  We want you to gain a detailed understanding of our Company, our customers and our competition.  The role is full of variety and focuses on implementing key predefined strategic programmes using an Agile Marketing Sprint approach.

The long-term career development opportunity within this role is significant.  We expect that the successful candidate will in time take on a management role within the business and leadership of these strategic programmes.

Marketing database programmes management

Using our Marketing CRM tools and established customer base of over 200 customers, built over 17 years of trading you will ensure the database is kept clean and optimised. You will work to deliver predefined Marketing Sprints focusing on the promotion of defined messages, solutions and/or services to budget and programme timescales.  Sprint programmes will be followed up by a dedicated Lead Generation resource.

Small Events – organisation, booking attendees and running:

  • Customer Round Tables
  • Customer Clinics
  • Customer workshops

Developing our Social Network Channels and website

Creating content from customer events.  Optimising the content on our website. Creating blogs and white papers and driving this content through chosen social media channels.

About you

You will need:

  • Experience of working in the IT sector (desirable)
  • A Marketing related degree or equivalent professional qualification
  • Experience within the B2B sector in a marketing capacity (in a business with revenues of at least £3m/ per annum)
  • Hands-on experience of delivering database marketing campaigns, organising and running events and solutions marketing via social media channels
  • Accustomed to working on multiple projects in parallel with varying deadlines
  • Familiar with briefing designers and managing design projects
  • Able to communicate, influence and build relationships with colleagues/stakeholders at all levels
  • Solid copy-writing skills
  • Experience of working to a budget and within tight timescales
  • A genuine and demonstrable passion for technology

Corporate Account Manager

Reports to:                          Sales Manager

Location:                              Twyford, Berks

Earning potential:            Competitive base salary plus uncapped commission

Your role:
This position involves selling to our Corporate and SMB customers.  We are looking for an individual who is passionate about looking after customers with the capability to build strong and enduring relationships.

Focusing on customers in the Corporate and SMB market space across industry verticals and managing the progression of opportunities through the entire sales cycle.  Key to this role will be the ability to manage a range of projects with full ownership and accountability ensuring our customers consistently receive an exceptional quality of service.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Account Management; preparing quotes, regular customer contact, attending meetings
  • Researching potential customers to drive new business
  • New business development; cold calling, email marketing
  • Hitting monthly/quarterly gross profit targets
  • Producing accurate forecasting and reporting to the Sales Manager
  • Smartly negotiating prices and discounts with customers and vendors respectively to ensure maximum margin
  • Attending regular product and sales training

What we need from you:

  • Degree educated, ideally
  • 1 – 2 years’ experience of selling within a complex B2B solution selling environment
  • Demonstrable previous sales success
  • Hold a full driving license with access to own transport
  • Demonstrate drive, ambition and self-motivation with a desire for results and the ability to handle competitive situations
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • A team player
  • Keen to learn about new and emerging technologies
